Shangri - La is an elegant villa in Barbados offering a mix of English country manor and plantation great house. This luxury villa is discreetly hidden behind an avenue of mahogany trees, with a gated entrance giving way to a shady area of lawn and generous parking.
The property offers four individually decorated bedrooms, two of which are en suite, whilst two share a bathroom.
The Great Room offers a relatively formal living and dining area. A more relaxed air conditioned entertainment room benefits from satellite TV, VCR, a selection of traditional board games and an elegant built-in bar.
Outside on the covered veranda is another casual sitting area which is furnished with bamboo and wicker seating and looks over to a central courtyard, the pool and sea vistas beyond.
Raised a few steps above the surrounding gardens, is the inviting swimming pool, set off by two coral stone pillars which act as a frame for the views of the Caribbean Sea. The gardens either side of the pool have well tended lawns and are full of tropical greenery, flora and mature trees, giving a sense of privacy and making a relaxing environment.
