Crystal Springs is ideally located between Speightstown and Holetown. In Holetown there is up market shopping. Speightstown is a delightful historic town on the sea where you will find an array of restaurants, bars and shops.  Golf at Royal Westmoreland, Apes Hill and Sandy Lane is a short drive away. 

Crystal Springs was originally desinged by renowned set designer Oliver Messel. The houses he designed are amongst the most sought after in Barbados. With romantic columns, coral stone floors and fanlight windows Messel houses are charming, romantic and stylish. This beautiful home is set amongst landscaped mature gardens. It has views directly overlooking the crystal blue Caribbean sea. Stairways and paths lead down to the small beach/ swimming cove. Steps to the east of the terrace allow easy access to a large swimming pool. This overlooks the sea and is which amidst Bougainvillea and shady young mahogany trees.

The present owners purchased the home after renting it for family holidays for many years - they loved it so much they bought it !

They have lovingly restored Crystal Springs to all its splendor. They have magically awakened the spirit of Messel and recreated the house as it once was when Messel first envisaged it. Particular attention has been paid to the villa's architectural significance. It is a stunning creation. 

Modern amenities blend effortlessly with the originality of the villa.  Most of the original furnishings have been refurbished. Combined with local artwork the villa has been restored to reflect a true Caribbean style. 

All 10 of the beautiful double bedrooms hav en suite  bathrooms. Crystal Springs comfortably sleeps up to 20 people.

There are 2 sets of communication suites and the Tea House has been designed for families with younger children. It has a King sized bed and 2 twin Murphy beds. This is ideal for families with young children. 

All suites are equipped with 100% white cotton linens and local artwork.

All rooms are light and breezy with beautiful views to the Caribbean sea.

There are built in cupboards providing ample closet space. All bedrooms are fitted with Jambox speakers by Jawbone and have flat screen televisons. Each bedroom as a ceiling fan and air conditioning.

The en suite bathrooms are all fitted with imported Italian marble. There are pampering touches such as seersucker robes, Acqua Di Parma toiletries and hair dryers. Four of the bathrooms feature fantastic open air showers. Most of them have incredible views of the gully or Caribbean sea.

Crystal Springs is equipped with an 18" speedboat for waterskiing and excusrions. It comes with a the boat master who can arrange diving lessons and equipment rentals. 

There is a heated infinity swimming pool which is finished with a stunning blue Bisazza mosica tile. The pool is lined with chaise loungers.  The beautiful mosaic tiles reflect the sparkling sunlight. The infinity edge is a magnificent window to the sea. From the pool you can watch boats sail by or simpy relax in the shade with your favourite drink. 

Crystal Springs has a modern fitness centre. This is equipped with Technogym equipment. The ideal spot  for those who want to keep up with their workout routines. 

There is a wonderful home cinema with theatre style chairs and large screen. It is air-conditioned and there is even a old time popcorn machine.

The staff at Crystal Springs have been with the estate for years. They will look after your every need. Staff inlcude a butler, cook (with assistant), housekeepers and laundresses. There is also a boatman and security guards at night.

The discreet unobtrusive staff will ensure your stay will surpass your every expectation.
